A mixed media collection using oil paint and paper collage on canvas, gloss varnish finish.
Dimensions: width 40 cm x length 50 cm, (2 cm canvas depth)
The process for analog collage collections consist of collecting large amounts of materials (book, papers, magazines), sorting through these materials to find relevant images that stand out to the artist. Then cutting hundreds of pieces of paper ready to play with! This means arranging the pieces to come together to create a larger image or that fit together in shape, style, colour or texture.
For this mixed media collection the analog collage is only half the process, a painting is then created using the collage, oil paint and gloss varnish.
